Resources  You are what you read. I like it when my clients ask questions. I like it when they are well informed and make their decisions based on information and not based on fear or ignorance. In order to become knowledgeable one must read from GOOD resources. There is also a lot of BAD information out there. There are a lot more good resources out there than I can list on this site, but to the left I have a few to get you started. In my opinion, the most important factor when choosing a midwife is the personality fit. Your midwife will be sharing one of the most memorable events in your life with you and it is important that you can feel comfortable opening up and sharing a very personal time with her. I believe it is important to interview with a few different midwives to get a feel for each of them and then hire the one who best fits your needs.
