The use of water in labor is, without a doubt, invaluable. It has been shown that immersion in warm water that is deeper than the mother’s abdomen is an extremely valuable relaxation tool, and some say it can be as successful at relieving pain as an epidural! It is my belief that all laboring women should have access to a deep immersion pool, even if she does not wish to give birth under water. I have two AquaDoula tubs available for rent. I will deliver one to your home two weeks before your duedate, and pick it up after your baby is born.
